Industrial Folding Doors, panels with or without windows

These specific folding doors consist of 52mm thick panels. The surface of each panel is constructed from light-gauge steel (20/10 galvanized steel SENDZIMIR ), pre-painted white /grey similar to RAL 9002 on both faces and bonded to a galvanized steel channel frame, reinforced with a rigid plastic-foam core. The metal sheets pass through many phases of production and coating, such as the reinforcement internally with rigid polyurethane foam, that ensure durability and exceptional quality of the finished product.

The final external finishing of the sheet consists of 20 Micron thick coating so that the surface is totally smooth. At this stage, even without further processing, provides 400 hours of resistance to extreme weather conditions. In addition, to prevent scratches, a protective film is added, which should be removed as soon as the door is assembled. The thermal insulation is assured by the injection of auto-extinguishing polyurethane foam according to standard DIN 4102 class B2 of 43/45 Kg/m³ density. The polyurethane foam provides high resistance to heat flow thanks to the compression process.

The upper track consists of two rails, painted black, that are equipped with pulleys and bearings and are configured to enable automation. The system includes metal hooks, door panel assembly tracks and chain bases. The lower rail consists of "U" shaped steel profiles, which have been designed under the supervision of our technicians and to which distance rules have been adapted according to the door wheelbase. In addition, the lower track has sockets and pipes for drainage and potentially necessary plumbing.

The hinges (arms) are made of aluminum alloy, through a die-casting process. Thorough research has been conducted for the outcome of the event in the case of a vehicle collision with the door panel.  As a result, the design incorporates hinges that have the ability to absorb impact without breaking the panels. The hinge has a ball bearing between the joints, which reduces friction and ensures hassle-free operation. The black aluminum handles are installed on the inside of each panel, facilitating the opening of the doors. The locking of the sheets is done through a vertical steel lock, consisting of two metal rods providing two closing points (top and bottom). To ensure the smooth movement of the door, all friction points are internally coated in Teflon.

 

To minimize closure gaps in-between the panels, each panel door is equipped with perimetral EPDM rubber sealing. The gap between the door panels is 50mm for all models: manual, automated or those to be automated later.

The upper and lower seals are designed in a C-shape with forged lines so that they can be adjusted both to the opening of the door and to the upper and lower guides. Horizontal and vertical seams are sealed, which ensures both thermal insulation and moisture resistance.
