ARIETE

ARIETE, AntiPanic Breakout System, designed and produced by SESAMO, is an aesthetically pleasing system that, in the case of emergency, allows the wings of an automatic sliding door entrance to open at a 90-degree angle.

It is possible to choose between the partial breakout system and the total breakout system.  The partial breakout system is designed to allow, if necessary, the breakout of only the moving parts (the sliding wing or wings) of the automatic entrance.  The second case, the total breakout system, is the choice for those needing to guarantee not only the breakout of the sliding wings, but the release of the “semi-fixed” wings as well, thereby increasing the width of the escape passageway and fully facilitating an emergency evacuation of the premises.

ARIETE AntiPanic Breakout System meets all the necessary safety requirements for entrances and exits that may be used as an escape route in case of fire or other emergency situations that may occur in a building. The system is essentially composed of two profiles in high-strength aluminum alloy that support the sliding wing and its components. However, when suitable force is applied, the components allow the door to breakout from the upper section and rotate in the opening direction to completely clear the escape route. The runners are lodged under the sliding wings, along their track, and are designed so as to minimize the vertical obstruction, limiting the danger of any obstacles in the passageway during emergency evacuations. If, during operation of the equipment, the breakout system is activated, the control unit of the operator automatically records the event and moves the wings into the completely open position so as to facilitate the complete clearing of the escape route.

ARIETE AntiPanic Breakout System has been tested and upon installation, comes with a certificate issued by the pertinent authorities. ARIETE is compatible with all the most popular commercial door profiles, requiring a space of at least 29x29mm inside the door and the possibility to obtain a distance of 23.5mm between the center of the rotation axis and the end of the profile.
