Swing gate opening systems - SKIPPER
Based on 20 years' experience in the civil and industrial automation sector, Aprimatic presents Skipper, the latest solution designed by the Italian company for the automation of swing gates.
Designed for the residential sector, Skipper is a low voltage operating arm which is particularly suitable for aluminium, wooden and PVC gates, and in the presence of large posts.
Skipper is simple and inexpensive to install. It is fitted with a total self-learning logic, thanks to which the calibration operations are reduced to a minimum. It is also possible to quickly modify the parameters by means of a simple menu.
Skipper is also contained in the practical Daytona Kit which contains: integrated radio-receiver, two-channel transmitter, flashing warning light, photoelectric cells, antenna kit and key-operated pushbutton control. A wide range of optional accessories are also available, such as battery kits, aluminium columns for ER4N photoelectric cells, electric locking devices, and two and four-channel transmitters.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Skipper has a thrust force of 150 Nm and may support a 2.3 m wide gate wing with a maximum weight of 300 kg. For wings wider than 2.3 m an electric locking device is provided. The opening time is 15 seconds, and Skipper may perform up to 80 cycles daily.
The safety of the system is guaranteed both by the motor power supply and by the anti-crush system which - in accordance with EN 12453 and EN 12445 - immediately stops the gate and reverses the direction of movement if an obstacle is encountered. This guarantees the safety of the users and protects the motor. Skipper also allows, if required, for the operator to be unlocked and, if necessary, returned to the wall.
